The GT7218 is the upgraded version of the standard 72" workstation, and the upgrades add real value. Most 72" units stop at a drawer base and a wood top, this one keeps going up: the 15-drawer rolling base and solid wood benchtop is added to with a hybrid pegboard and a 3-door overhead cabinet with LED light strip, all built and aligned as one unit — a complete shop wall on wheels, not a base you bolt accessories onto later.

The upgrades you feel day to day: thicker steel than the usual range, which is why it weighs 459 lbs in the carton and doesn't flex under a full load; drawers that fully extend so nothing gets stranded at the back; a 35mm (1.4") solid wood benchtop you can actually work on; and a built-in power board with USB right at the bench, no lead trailing across the floor. It rolls on industrial casters with aluminium handles and tubular pull bars, and the matte black anti-fingerprint steel wipes clean and shrugs off grease and corrosion.

At 72"W × 20.5"D × 73.5"H without its pull handles it suits a two-car garage or a proper workshop — but once it's in, it becomes the heart of the space. Tough enough for daily shop use, sized and finished for the home garage.

🧰 15 EVA-lined, soft-close drawers on full-extension ball-bearing slides rated to 100 lb each — every drawer pulls all the way out, every time, even loaded with sockets and power tools. Cheaper units stop short and leave tools stranded at the back of shallow drawers; it's the daily frustration on lesser cabinets, and the first thing this fixes. The EVA lining protects tool finishes and stops things rolling.

🗄️ A 3-door overhead cabinet on gas-strut doors that lift, hold and stay up instead of dropping on your hands — real storage above the bench, not just behind it. One key fits every lock on the unit (the drawer bank and all three overhead doors), with spare keys included so a lost key never locks you out.

🪝 Hybrid pegboard takes both round and square pegs, so it fits almost any hook or accessory — and we include a sample set of the heavy-duty square hooks, the rigid Euro-style type that actually holds weight, not the light round hooks most US setups ship with.
